Hip Gear Screen

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Hip Gear Screen

Post by Guest »

I am in the process of hooking a Hip Gear Screen PS2 version to my SNES version 1 MOBO. I have noticed that there are two patches on the back of the mobo that read audio and video. Can I sodder the hipscreen av wires to these patches, or do I have to wire them to the av standard port? Also, I was wondering, would it be easier to make a seperate power supply for the screen. If not, do I connect the power wire to the snes's power regulator thinge? I know that there are questions about the hipscreen that are posted often, and they have help thus far. I have noticed after searching that there is a post about which wire does what. It was quit helpful. Once I finish my project, I'll post a tutorial on it based off of the SNES version 1. and hipscreen. Lastly once I have accomplished this project, can I tell folks that I'm an engineer! Just Joking. All of your help is much appreciated!
