My Nes re-build project

Post by CanuckJackBauer »

Hey everyone I'm new here and I've got a few questions i'm sure your knowledgeable community can help me with

I'm putting an eee pc inside a nes case

The plan:
-pull out guts
-put in asus eee pc 7"
-wire ports to USB inside the case
-vga out

My main question (so far) is how to connect the controller wires to usb? I am thinking of buying something like this:
http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.ph ... ucts_id=28" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
but I'm not sure if i can make it fit properly..

open nes without original motherboard

eee pc inside case
http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/3665/img00046x.jpg

so the plan is to remove the casing from the eee pc and remove the screen etc..

Its a work in progress, if you have any idea's please feel free to let me know.

There is more than enough room to stuff that all in there. You shouldn't have any problems at all.
