vacuum form mold, lego? :P

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Well im having trouble building my mold for my portable, and then I thought about it.....LEGO!
i know lego is plastic but....i dunno will it work?

Unless you want a case with lego-bumps on the top, no. Just.... NO. I'm all for the childlike novelty of Lego, but come on.

I would be fine with the bumps :D give the console some texture plus I just tried it then, except as its my first trial i covered it with tape, but i screwed it cos the plastic wasn't hot enough.

Wouldn't it be easier to use wood? It looks like to me the legos would melt if you got the plastic hot enough. But, it would also be cool to have little bumps all over the portable but flat in certain areas like around the buttons and stuff.

lego takes like 5 seconds to build, gonna try again tonight and hopefully get a better result
