Broken GBA SP

Hi. I have a GBA SP that has a cracked screen and a broken charger port. I'm not sure if the sound work's or not. I think it would be good for making a GBA with a bigger screen, but I don't have the money. I wan't to trade it for a Gameboy Player, or get a reasonable amount of money for it.

can you do that with an SP? the insides are a bit diftrent to one an other
expecaly there display. and looking at the pic of the insides of that av out for gba i can see that they conect to the dsplay ribon the gba uses but the sps ribons alittle difrent this could work if you made a converter for the two ribon if you do that you could buy an sp and a gba and swap screens!

I want to put an Intec 5.4" screen for GC on it. Does anyone have any suggestion for batteries etc? How can I make the screen and the GB run on 12 volts?
