Power Problems

Post by Sparkfist »

Ok today I got something done [Applaude], anyways I soldered a connector to my PSOne and then used my battery to run it and tried to install a mod chip.

Well at first I was able to turn the thing on but it never left the cd/memory card menu. Then a lil later the screen when blank after 2 sec. tuning it on. Now I tore the mod chip out and I still have the problem of the system not working.

Any suggestions or ideas as to whats wrong or what I need to do?

You might have shorted two wires when you installed the mod chip. Thats why I alway run a razor blade between all my connestion to cut them even if they are connected.
