my s2nes controller adapter!!!

Post by themadhacker »

Ok, we just about all know that you can modify your snes controllers to work on your nes. But doing that makes your controllers unplayable on the snes. But I have solved this problem with my s2nes adapter. I had a controller port from my retro duo that I would not be using in my portable, so I decided to make use of it. Also, I mainly did this because I don't have any nes controllers. So anyway, I used a sega genesis power adapter shell for the case (ironic, aint it?), and I bought an nes controller cord from Tibia (thanks, Tib!) Anyway, enough words, moar pics!

Oh, and BTW, yes that is electricians tape around hot glue on the nes controller plug.
Oh, and I forgot to mention. I will be entering this in Kurt's controller contest, if its allowed. I don't see why not though, as it is an adapter for controllers.

Thanks for all the positive comments, guys. And I think eurdrue and bacteria are right about the name, so I will be changing the topic to say that instead of "S to NES".

Beautiful.
At least it doen't render your controller useless.
Pretty clean, man. Loving your work (not you, that would be gay).
Making stuff with my new beautiful CNC machine!
Would you like a professional looking custom case for your portable? I may be able to help you. Check out this link:

Thanks. Maybe I sould sart selling these. Although if I do, I certainly won't be using a sega power adapter. that would look a bit cheap (which I most definitely am).

we, all members of benheck, are.
Thats why you see portables made out of balsa wood, cardboard, and plastic drawers.
