Yeah but there are some that require you put 5v to the #12 pin. If your using this for a portable its best to just take it aprat right now, that way its easier to connect the 5v to the #12 pin. I cant tell you by number if its needs this mod or not, not even Gannon or Ben can we just know that some require it.

I am a geek.
When I plug my Sony PSOne screen into power, I can see a faint glow. Try pressing the plus or minus for brightness or volume, as those have on-screen displays.
Do you have a 1/8" jack to RCA plug cable(commonly used for connecting a computer to a stereo) laying around? If so, plug the 1/8" plug into the PSOne screen in the video in jack, and plug the red cable RCA jack into a composite video source's (like a DVD player or VCR) yellow plug. This is what I did to test my PSOne screen when I got it.

Adjust the volume or brightness. They have on onscreen indicator.Sweebez wrote:I got the screen used, but guaranteed working. The Psone Screen doesnt have a power button. How do i know if the screen works?!

Put 5 D batteries together in series. (1.5v x 2 = 7.5)

For testing, you could use 5 AAAs, because you don't need 21A to power the screen.

Putting them in series ups the voltage, not the amperage. Putting them in parallel ups th amperage, not the voltage.nos_slived wrote:For testing, you could use 5 AAAs, because you don't need 21A to power the screen.
