Trying to make xbox360 laptop case

Okay im trying to figure out how I can get a case for this project. Im in the navy on a ship about to go on deployment to middle east which is why this would be really nice to get done. Anyways I dont have the option of making a case anymore since ive moved out here in cali so ive been looking and I found that some people used the metal or aluminum laptop cases as the box and just modified it a little bit. So the real question is would I be able to use that and is there a moniter or tv that thin to fit inside this thing. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be fantastic. Thanks again

uh yar I'm going to use aluminum and spot weld it all together when I get started on mine. and for the screen issue just use a LCD flat panel monitor with like built in speakers and remember the screen is the most hardest part so make sure you know what you are doing!

oh and remember the case is obviously going to be as big as the screen a 17" screen will fit nicely
