Nes controller d-pad

How do I get a NES controller D-pad to work on my VCSp? I have one but I dont know how to get it to work?

you don't have to post another thread just to ask.
Anyways, just wire the button contacts to the according area on the atari conector

well wouldnt i have to get the other half of the contacts off of the circut board inside the controller? is there a way i could make my own instead?

you can connect the nes pad's contacts directly to the dsub 9 atari connector.
