ZN series case for NES portable

I'm working on a nes portable (not a noac) i already have a case started but my god its a pain.
What i'm basically asking is can i fit a NES portable in a ZN-40 or do i need a ZN-45

The ZN-40 and ZN-45 have all the same dimensions except for height.

The Zn-40 is 5.25x9.18x1.675
The Zn-45 is 5.25x9.18x2.363

The Nes motherboard is 5.25x7.75x1.125

So it will fit in either one. I would use the ZN-40
