Snes classic controller?

Ok, I just got a cool idea. What if I did a mod to a snes controller and made it into basically a classic controller? Would anyone be interested in that idea? I would use a gamecube controller and a bunch of bondo to do it.

Well, It souns interesting. However, you cant just do a gut transfer. The L and R buttons are exactly like the gc's.

If you have a spare GC controller, it is no loss to lose the CC, so go ahead!

I know I can't do a direct gut transfer, I'm going to be mostly just hooking up a gamecube controller mobo to a snes controller mobo and putting some joysticks underneath the other controls.
