Second N64p finished in only a week!!!!!!!

Post by Gamelver »

I've been working like crazy this past week on my second N64p. I started on Saturday last week and ended today at around 11 PM or so. The reason I had to build another one is because an idiotic friend of mine sold my N64p without asking. Why he would think of doing such a thing, I don't know, but he didn't think I'd seem to care........Anyways, I got the money and I was able to start building a second one. This one is a little bit upgraded from the first one....It has a five inch PSone screen, will run a little over two hours, and has AV inputs.

I was hurrying this week to build it because ofa trip I'm going on for a few weeks, just in case anyone was wondering.

Since I leave tommorow I won't be able to post any pics. In a few weeks though I'll post some up.

So I'll see ya in a few weeks!
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Edit:
oh yeah, and if you send them to the admin@doomportables.org address either me or SpongeBuell will add it to the status page with your other n64.

err... if you don't mind me asking, what did he sell it for? If you'd rather not answer, that's fine with me, I'm just curious.

Like gannon said, send pics and info, and we'll post it :)

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

Ok, it looks like you'll be getting those pics a bit sooner than I expected. I'm staying at a friend's house and he has an Internet connection. Anyway, here's a website: http://www.geocities.com/gamelver2004/N64p2.html
(remember, I only had a week to build it)

I'll e-mail those pics in a sec.

Like I said before I don't know why he sold it. I guess he just thought money was better. He probably also thought it was easy for me to build one.......

that's probably because of the giant pictures. resizing them in HTML doesn't reduce the file size, ya know

I'm sorry, I'm going to have to scream. It's good for only a one week building time, though.

I'm guessing some things prevented you from making it thinner, but I just don't think holding that thing would be very confortable, it just seems too thick.

Yeah it is a bit thick. However keep in mind that the only goal in mind was for me to finish it so that I could play it on the road. I will, after finishing the GCp, build a much better one, with a five inch screen, longer battery life, and a vacuum formed case. Until then though, I've only got this one to play.
