Bacteria's project - making a carry case for project case!!

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Bacteria's project - making a carry case for project case!!

Post by bacteria »

:D

The wording of this section is "Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!".

It seems entirely appropriate to put this post here then!

Here is how I put my project inside something, to hold everything together, etc:

Found this case at a car boot sale for £1. Couldn't resist it!

5 minute job:

It is a case for a McAdam hair straightener gift set - forget that - the box is the right size and also zips up!

Opened it up, time to remove the studs, etc from the base:

Cover the base with something nicer. Put in the system, 5 game carts, two batteries (space for 4 there BTW, so I can have my spares in the case too), some old foam to put on the top to protect the screen and keep the system in place.

Case shut - nice and neat!

Put this on my website too!! :D :D

well, as long as you guys dont tell anybody,
i knit and i make laptop cases which are pretty hardcore if i say so myself ;)

anyway. with some padding they normally make nice cases. wool is tight knit fiber and wont tear unless a lot of stress is applied.

heres a pic of my bro's laptop case (i made it 4 him last christmas)
