Famicom four player
Hi
now that I know how to connect a famicom expansion port to the nes
I'd like to be abel to play four player famicom games on it I found this pinout but I don't know how to connect controllers to then or won't usuall controllers work if that's the case how would I have to build them
The pinout:
PIN # Famicom Expansion Port Controller Device
1 GND GND
7 PORT1-D1 JOYPAD #4 DATA
9 PORT1-CLK JOYPAD #4 CLOCK
12 OUT0 STROBE
13 PORT0-D1 JOYPAD #3 DATA
14 PORT0-CLK JOYPAD #3 CLOCK
15 +5V +5V
Thx for the Help
Have a nice Weekend

as far as i know there's no four player adapter but there's the possibility to connect two extra controlers to the expansion port
here's the pinout again think it wasn't read able in the first post
PIN # Famicom Expansion Port Controller Device
1 GND GND
7 PORT1-D1 JOYPAD #4 DATA
9 PORT1-CLK JOYPAD #4 CLOCK
12 OUT0 STROBE
13 PORT0-D1 JOYPAD #3 DATA
14 PORT0-CLK JOYPAD #3 CLOCK
15 +5V +5V
gnd strobe and 5V are simmilar on pad 3 and 4 but that are only 5 wires per controler that doesn't make any sence to me but I found this on different pages all the same it must be right

you out of luck the famicom verson did use the expanson port http://nesdev.icequake.net/ffpa.txt
unless your useing a real nes then there is a way by simpley useing the pinout in my link and matching it with the nes expanson port pinout
^
edit: witch is waht you wanted the hole time now that I read more carefully

Im done here
don't know why this wasn't read able the whole time
PIN # Famicom Expansion Port------------------Controller Device
1 ------GND ----------------------------------------GND
7 ------PORT1-D1 ----------------------------------JOYPAD #4 DATA
9 ------PORT1-CLK ---------------------------------JOYPAD #4 CLOCK
12 -----OUT0 ---------------------------------------STROBE
13 -----PORT0-D1 ----------------------------------JOYPAD #3 DATA
14 -----PORT0-CLK --------------------------------JOYPAD #3 CLOCK
15 -----+5V ----------------------------------------+5V
I have this fro connecting the controllers the thing I don't know is why has the 3. and 4. Port only 5 pins nort 7 (gnd data clock strobe +5v)
