hello again everyone, im still new to the scene and im workin on my first SNESp. im in the middle of wiring this thing to batteries and im thinking all was going well until i started to remount the RF shield while my NiMH RC battery was still hoked to the cercuit. while doing this the RF shield came into contact with im guessing is the left hand pin of the 7805 or the solder came into contact with the shield and grounded me out frying my leads going from my battery to the 7.2 pin on 7805 and my ground lead going to the 7805, now my question is how much damage could i have possibly done? im hoping i just fried a few wires and i just need to be more careful on my next attempt next to worse would be i fried the 7805 which if is the case im guessing i can replace with an LDO or worst scenario i fried my rig and gotta get new hardware?! ill say that none of the other wires look to be effected and i dont see anything wrong as far as burning or warping/bubbling of the mobo itself.
