Radion mobility 9000 Tv color issue

I have a fudjitsu siemens Amilo D, It uses the radion mobility 9000.
I have a 4pin S-video to Composit Video Adaptor Cable that works with my Geforce fx 5900xt just fine. the problem with the Radion is when I try to connect it to my tv, it works but it is only in black and white. I have tried all kinds of different drivers, and all the pal modes, all the resolutions and refresh rates. I have seen on other forum pages that some guys just buy a new adaptor, but the one that I have works with several other cards no problem, so I am a bit sceptical about going out to buy a cable that may not help.
Does Anyone know what the problem is, Please Help!!!

Your TV seems to only be getting the LUMA line of the s-video output. Since your adapter works fine I'd say that either the card is broken, or there is a broken solder joint on the s-video connector.

I have a similar problem where old connectors wont work with my new graphics card...

Buy a new connector thats all you can do.
