9.0 volt 5400mah battery..
i just got one and was gona use a ps1 screen but wouldnt 9.0 volts be to much? seen posts sayin 7.2 was good enough to just keep the screen alive how much does the n64 need? seen a post saying it uses 3-12v? mabey i was misreading it ... also can the ps1 screen handle the 9.0v u think with no probs?
Fire in the hole
The 12v line can take anything from 7v to 35v, the 3v line needs to be specific from 3v (heard its not great though) to 3.6v. So if you want the N64 to run off this one battery you need to make a circuit so to reduce the voltage from 9 down to 3.3. Nintendo did this by having two 7805 voltage regulators and two 3 Ohm resistors set up in parallel.
