I thought you were giving some away for free? Making an Atari 2600 Portable like Ben's would be so cool...

FREE??? Aye! Me sides ache!

Well, I'm glad there hasn't been a knee-jerk reaction to the prices... I tried to keep them as low as possible while making sure I would still stay ahead. Those darn white LED's are not cheap!

Oh, and I finally got my copies of my book... pretty interesting! Gave most of them away to friends but I'll keep one around here for a "coffee table book" (even though I don't have a coffee table - guess it'll sit on the subwoofer/table)

I actually wished the hand-built prices could have been a little lower but there's a certain amount of default overhead (and white LED's) for each kit. But having the plates pre-cut will save you several hours (and be perfect)

The prices are very reasonable considering what you're getting for the money :D

Sadly, I simply can't afford any right now. Even if I had money it would have to go towards a car.

I get my white LEDs on ebay from some guys in Hong Kong.
They work excellent, and even with shipping it only comes out to about .20 cents each. Now it does take about two weeks for them to arrive, but I've gotten 50 bright whites for $10.

Have you tried getting them from ebay instead of digi?
I keep cutting it off.. and it's still too short.

those prices ARE pretty nice.......hmmmm......that's it, I'm definitely buying at least one+the book (as soon as I get the money, that is ;)......currently, the last of my money went into some more li-poly batteries for my GCp :))
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Can we get a discount for having bought your book?.... Yeah I know your not.

I'll see if my atari works and maybe buy the handbuilt case. Otherwise the other CNC ones, esspecally the PSone I'll have to wait quite a while.

I'd like to buy one, but I'm getting your book, so thats my money gone already, so then I can't afford one of those, and I'm getting a radica for my birthday and a lot of other stuff to portablize it so I can't buy one of these... If I win the lottery I'll buy the PSone kit
