Turbo16p

Post by foolishzero »

My friend Shaun has been working on making a Turbo Graphic 16 into a portable system (well semi-portable). It's kinda difficult because of the long bored inside the system. I was wondering if anyone has made one before and if so what kind of screen did you use? He want's to use something around five inches to make up for how big the portable will be. Also if you've made one can you post a couple pictures or a link to them.
Thanks!
I see you're drinking 1%... Is that cause you think you're fat... You're not... You could be drinking whole.

I'm pretty sure that no one's ever built a portable Turbo Graphic 16.......as for the screen, just use a psone screen, as it's pretty much the best screen for portablizing :)
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

I had thought about doing one because the board is so small when compaired to other systems and the PC Engin was just awesome. but yeah just use a PSOne screen or a 3 inch pocket tv

It shouldnt be a problem if the screen and system use analoge signals. If on the off chance its like the Game Gear you should find some info about moding to to work with a standard composite screen.

Yea the board is small but it's long... I do like the idea of the turbo express though with the up to date screen... I might mention that to him
