I have decided to build a portable Playstation with my recently acquired funds, as it looks the easiest to build. I'm really new to electronics so I want this to be as simple as possible. I was thinking of buying a 5" PS lcd screen and the battery charger that fits on the bottom of the console, gutting them, and putting them into my own case along with the PSO and a controller. Is this a good idea?

yeah pritty much... and look for tupper ware or craft sorting devices to use as cases. its pritty much the best time saver, unles you have a vacume table
