Favorite NES Game

Post by electromaster64 »

I am definitely going to go with The Legend of Zelda although Super Mario Brothers 3 is pretty close. And I love Castlevania. I tried to put a ton of poll options in but just post your game and I will try to keep up on updating the poll options to include it. I didn't bother putting zelda 2 up because I don't know anyone who likes that game, I have no idea why they did the game like that.

Ninja Gaiden is hard, man. It was one of the first games I owned for NES and to this day I still haven't beaten that last damn boss, Mephisto or whatever is name was. Although, for a couple years I couldn't play that game because the music in level 4 was too scary. I also couldn't play Dragon Warrior for the longest time because I was afraid of the dungeon music and being attacked by Green Dragons.

^^ This is what happens when kids with vivid imaginations are exposed to games at age 5-6. Dragon Warrior is such a simple game, but it really scared the bejesus out of me when I was young. An observation on video games and their effects on children!

So anyway, I can't say that I have a favorite NES game (my cousin and I combined have like 75) but I might be able to narrow it down to FF1, Mega Man 3, SMB3, Zelda, and Castlevania 2/3. So, since most of these are on the list, I will go against the norm and say Mega Man 3!

I can't get enough of Zelda games, so I'm gonna have to vote for the Legend of Zelda :).
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Yeah, music was always a big part of games for me, and the music from all the games I listed is awesome :)

Comming from the guy with Mario in his avatar. I declare you a LIAR!

That was a hell of a stress reliever

edit: Also, I voted SMB 1-3. I loved the colors, the plot, the kind, but if-it-existed-in-reality-it-would-be-horifying violence.
