Hacking at the motherboard
hey g-force, could you send me a close up of how ur power thingy was wired, i hackes the crap outta my n64 and i took off the power thing and everything but the main board and i watche out for wires and crap. could u help me out? i could send some pics of the board to help u get what im trying to say. thanks for the help.

The only pics I have of the N64 board are here (click for a larger pic) because the N64 is no longer with us. It got fried one day as I was fooling around inside and it has gone on to a better place 
If I get what you said correctly you desoldered the power plug and you want to know where to solder the power wires. Is that what you need? There is a diagram on doomportables.org on how and where to wire.
