best cheap metal for making custom brackets

Post by XPCportables »

What is a good cheap metal for bracket making. It needs to be easy to bend but sturdy at the same time. I'm betting alluminum would be good but I need to know what kind, such as, how thick, in strips or sheet, where to get it. Thanks guys, I'm about to start ramping up work on my legendary PsoneP revision 5

A little late but roof valley tin works well. Very sturdy yet can be cut with tin snips and bent with plyers.
