Cheap 72-pin connectors?

Post by SgtBowhack »

I know this has been discussed a bunch of times, but has anyone found a cheap reliable source for these? I'd be most interested... :)

Well my cheap and reliable source is Gannon, but as your way out in Japan.... Try ebay Japan. They might be selling conveters cheaply, they're tipicly ~$5.

No, not converters, the U-shaped 72-pin connectors you find in a real NES. Either that or straight ones if I have to. But I'd rather have the U-shaped ones if possible.

I guess look for people on ebay that are willing to send them over seas than.

I don't really need it sent to Japan, since I'll be back in America in a few months. But I was hoping to get them in bulk, so I was looking for something better than "eBay" :/
Jack: what website? And was it just a 72-pin edge connector by itself? I might be OK with that...

I got my 60-72 pin converters for $1 a piece, but then after shipping they cost me around $2.50. The 72 pin connectors are pretty easy to desolder from them too.

Well, I want them for my mini-NES, so I was hoping to have a U-shaped one like the real NES (mainly so I can replace the one in my real NES and then use the old one for this, but I digress)
Mind telling me where you got the adapters from, and how many you need to buy to get them for such a nice price? PM is OK :)
