Which wires are the Vs. and which are the ground. What does each one mean? As long as I can Plug in a controller and use that to play or the built in one it doesn't really matter.
I took apart the controller port so I know where to solder the wires. But now I need to figure out which wires each one stands for. This would help so much if anyone knows. Even one wire.
Yes, i finally figured it out this one site listed the controller pins and what each one means. Here's the link http://home.quicknet.com.au/andrewm/psx ... t/#PINOUTS
All I need to do now is find out which ones to use.
Nice, the only difference between the ps1 and ps2 controllers is that the ps2 controller uses the 9V in the port while the ps1 doesn't. This will also help with my autoswitch.
Because if you switch off power or ground, none of the circuitry works, but if you just cut off one data line or something, you'll still be getting interrupting signals when you plug in an ext. controller.
