The screen is digital, and will only work with other game gears. Even then, there are 2 different types (Majesco and Sega) and they may not be intercompatible.

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

Yeah but didnt Cennar use a Nomad screen or something else?
I tried to use a GameGear screen (the GG is about $10 here) and being stupid I think I blew about half the fuses out (dont drink sake then try to work on a screen, please).
Anyway, too hard, dont do it, save up money for a PSone LCD screen. Ebay baby.
When in Japan with access to just about every system ever made and those that have yet to see international soil, gather your forces, and make the cool ones your own.

My answer is yes...but only with a gamegear tv tuner and then you would need to throw a gamegear, the tv tuner and whatever other system you want to portabalize into a case. So unless your crazy you can't do it.

I remember back when I was about 14 I had a super nintendo hooked into a gamegear through a custom RF -> mini jack connection. That way we could have a Street Fighter 2 tournament outside my friends house since he wasn't alowed to have more than 1 other person in at a time.
