New Atari?

Post by MM007 »

I was in Radio Shack today, and the guy who worked there was talking about seeing a new Atari with a cartridge slot at Wal-Mart 3 days ago. He said it looked like a modern 2600.

Can anyone confirm this and tell me what this is?
Warranty-Voiding fun!

I'll bet he was thinking of the Flashback, thinking that if it's like a console it must have a cart slot, unlike the joysticks

I don't think it does, reading the Retro Gamer mag they said it was made by the actual guys at Atari, if they ain't dead :P

So it is probably a real 7800 with a smart card in, like the Radica Genesis slightly.

So is it an AOAC or is it cheap and weak emulation?

could it be used in an nes portable, since it is an noac?

that would make them easier to find.

And now you have proven exactly why you have that title below your name.
