WTB/TF: SD Card(s)

Post by CronoTriggerfan »

I'm buying my GBA Movie Player SD version, so I'll be needing.....you guessed it, SD cards! I'm looking for something with a few gigs, (a card that would hold a movie or two) then a smaller one for the few MP3's I listen to religiously. I don't want to pay a whole lot, so reduced price would be nice. Also, if you are interested in any VG related stuff, I've got some cool things for trades.

An NES V1 w/cords, I think
About 40 Atari/Intellivision/Odyssey (mostly Atari)
An SNES V1 mobo w/possible custom case
Genesis stuff
And other stuff, just ask for your needs

Give your offers here; if you're interested in the tradeable stuff, let me know how much you think it's worth.

Sadly, no  . Our grocery store sells SD cards, though....maybe I'll check there. But that doesn't mean I'm not still looking for offers!

How small should your small card for MP3s be? I have a 256 and a 64 lying around. If you're still interested, let me know.

Hmmmm....I may want one. I have to check my grocery store first, though, because they sell them pretty cheap. And about the movie one; how many gigs do you think I'd need for a two hour movie? What about a couple of two hour movies? Would 2gb do it?

Okay, I'm gonna steal the SD card outta my dad's Treo for the MP3 one, seeing as I really don't think it's more than 1GB. I found a 1GB SD card on Amazon for $20 shipped, but I'd really like something more than 1GB, like maybe 2 or 4; I'll be in the car for 12 hours! So if anyone has ANYTHING, please reply!

EDIT: Anyone know how much memory the standard SD card that comes with a Treo has?

I've read reviews for the Movie Player and it seems that it can only handle up to 2 GB SD cards. Here's a list of SD cards around the web that you could buy, although I'm sure you're perfectly capable of doing this yourself.

Thanks for that info! It's very helpful. Also, could you give me a link of that review, I'd like to read it.

As for buying an SD card.....SOMEONE please get me a 2gb-ish card!

I have a 512, if you would like it, I would be happy to trade. I have a 1 gig not up for sale, but perhaps if tempted...

Hmmmm...I dunno, I already have a 512mb, but I may still want it if you don't hold that 1G too close to your heart; how much? I saw your other thread, and I do have a copy of Megaman X if you're still interested.
