heres a weird thought for a case:

Lego's .

Think about it glue the bottom half together to make it strong then glue the top half together. Put any mechancial parts in and put it all inside .Than take the top half-glue it to bottom half and bam a case made out of lego's.

This has been discussed a million times over: A lego case is NOT a good idea! Doesn't glue well, drill well, epoxy well; just a bad idea. PLEASE search next time; you've heard this from everyone else, but I will enforce it: We DON'T take kindly to spammers/flamers here.

well at least i THINK it's been done... It wouldn't hold together very well if you didn't sand the blocks.

I super glued two legos together, and it held really good.

Not for a portable, but i did manage to make a lego case for a homemade iPod Dock:

I made the sticker myself. I was boored so i made it. I've had this for awhile now. I just didnt want to spend 20 bucks for a dock.
