Ben's Pirate NESp
Ok I have a few questions that either Ben himself or some members can help me with.
First is Ben has the pinout for the NES-to-Famicom adaper, but I dont have the program for reading it. So if someone can point it out a converter for the file or if they have it converted send it to me.
Second is, the batteries he used. Where they alkaline or rechargable? I can understand alkaline as the total voltage would be 6 but rechargables would amount to only 4.8.
Last is kind of off but what would the current draw be on a PSOne screen modded for LEDs? I would have search but well I'm asking other questions I figured I'd ask this to be sure. Oh and what is the size I need?
Thanks for any help.

If the image is a sceen capture if the file Ben has under the download section, in video games, than I'm screwed..... well maybe not if Gannon has tested out his pinout for the NES-to-Famicom cart than I'll use that. So far thats the thing keeping me form having it done by Christmas.
Also, I've tried use the battery power on my PowerJoy and coudnt get it running is that becausethe power goes to a 7805 power regulator and so I should use a 7.2v battery in the end?

Yes, it is.Sparkfist wrote:If the image is a sceen capture if the file Ben has under the download section, in video games, than I'm screwed....
Couldn't you just bypass the 7805 and send the 4.8 or 6 volts into the main board? It shouldn't hurt it. (At least I don't think so...Sparkfist wrote:Also, I've tried use the battery power on my PowerJoy and coudnt get it running is that becausethe power goes to a 7805 power regulator and so I should use a 7.2v battery in the end?

Hey guys need a little help here.
I was getting ready to wire the 1st player controller port on and well... The labeling of what the wires are that go to the controller board and they dont match the pinout that Mr. MOD has for his on doomportables. I'd like to know if I should follow Mr. MOD's or should I use the label they have on the board? One other question is what was that switch that was mentioned, when you plug in a controller it brake the link to the internal one?
