Do you have a technical question that doesn't really fit a specific console? Want some general info on electronics, hacking, making cookies, etc? Here's the place to ask! Go nuts.
Welcome to Soldering 101, brief soldering tutorial videos. All videos are in WMV or XviD. Each lesson is about 5 - 10 minutes in length, and all should be very informative to the experienced solderer, or the new solderer. THANK YOU POD FOR HOSTING! Tools needed for this guide:

Quick Tips! These are some bad examples of soldering. Don't do those. To avoid a "cold solder joint" add a bit of solder to it if you reheat it. Remember to heat up both the pad and the wire at the same time, so you get an electrical connection.

Cool. I've never done anthing with solder before ever so that was very informative. Now, Go make more! Also you may benefit from a slightly larger bitrate. maybe 512k.
Then the file would be around 25 MB and it would take way too long to download. 8.41 MB is a good number. Both broadband and dialup users can download it.
Great idea... keep them coming. It would be nicer if you had a higher quality version so we could see better but its still really cool that your doing these.

Maybe something on how to use a multimeter/voltmeter. Maybe something on wire stripping a techniques. I've been seeing cries for help about those things around here.
