How can I build PS2?

Post by XP(XBOX PORTABLE) »

Can someone tell me exactly what I need to build a PS2 portable. Please. All I want to know is everything you need? Once it is built can I build all of my PS2 games on it?

umm....what exactly do you mean by "Once it is built can I build all of my PS2 games on it?"
First off, unless you're a software engineer, I doubt that you'll "build games on it" ;)
Let's see a list of parts...
1. ps2
2. lcd
3. batteries
4. controller
5. a brain
There you go, all the parts!

hmmm... lets see... a battery, some voltage regulators, a case, a PS2 (of course) a screen, some 3rd party PS2 controllers, soder, a soldering iron, wire, and a decent amount of knowledge. That should cover it. Also, go to http://www.doomportables.org

yeah, you should be able to. Unless you build your own chips and everything and they aren't compatible with your games.

it all depends on what you have already and how good you want it.

What version ps2?
Do you want to use tactile switches or not? How big of a battery do you want? Case style/size/material?
