I think the issue was that they did not want people making alternate accounts to vote... A quick IP check should let the mods know if these are actually new registrants, or just accounts made by people to vote for themselves.

EDIT: Also, I think the discussion popped up when this was going to be decided by a good old fashioned poll. Now that we have an open vote, it lets mods check for discrepancies. :D

i just think it shouldn't be allowed.

Heck I could call up 40 people in a half hour and tell them to sign up and vote for me. I have a lot of friends who would do that if I asked.

Now would that be fair?

So new account = NO VOTE in my book. :!:

Not that it really matters, just my OCD kickin in. :P

Good point... I guess it all comes down to what the mods decide. :D

I just don't understand how low grade is mine though it's among the coolest designs created for ATARI 2600. :?

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I've seen it get way out of hand when people do that. In fact, someone here was asking for votes on some other site, and it ended up with people coming here and spamming here. There's more than enough current members to keep the vote fair.

My presentation seems poor but the device in real life looks awesome. That's unlucky of me not to have a high-resolution camera and not being able to use daylight.

A build log would help everyone see how cool it is and the effort that went into it :)

Yes better pics help show the quality. Maybe borrow one?

I won't be able to enter better pics into "vote thread" anymore, will I?

@mothatrucka: Who was the member that did that? Just curious.

@cmon: Don't worry too much, I do not think people are basing votes on the quality of the pics. Look at mine, they are TERRIBLE!

I'm sure if you PM Skone he will add them.

I for one would not mind. I would love to see high res pics. :)
