the screen just arrived today :D . now i have to figure out how to hook it up and fix it :?

i opened it up and the wires from the plug on the bottum go to wierd places all over the board so i'll try to find out which ones are video, audio, etc... if i can't find that out, i'll have to get a fine tip soldering iron and practice and then solder to the points shown in the screen faq. has anybody else used a verge screen who could help me out a bit?

are you talkin about a verge screen? I got one, in order to make it work wire up the 5 volts from the 7805 to the 5v in where the normal connector is if it were a psone screen. also, blue is video, i forgot the others.

why is it there? it isn't there on psone screens :? . would the screen still work if i removed it? BTW i removed the AV wires that it had connected to it and i'm gonna wire them to the slots on the bottum because i know what the pinouts for those are

but that cap is connected to where i need to connect the 5v line to and i don't know much about caps so i don't know if it would mess up the 5v. BTW the auction said the video doesn't work so :P

i dunno did youy try connecting the 5 volts to the pin with the capacitor still on maybe it'll work

i just got a soldering iron and have been practicing a bit on old computer parts and when i get good enough, i'll start wiring everything together.


EDIT: i just finished extending the anologue stick wires and i'm going to sleep now because i'm tired
