Win a Nintendo Wii over at Console Central Network

Do you think that if someone in a non-PAL area won, could you give them the option of getting a cash equivalent so they can buy a Wii that would work for them? It would save you the shipping, and then the winner wouldn't have to get rid of it so they can get an NTSC one.

and vskid there are at least 3 chips out now for the wii
and 2 of them allow imports to be played.

well wiikey isnt out yet but is about to be shipped i think

I'm not talking about anyones entries anymore..

PAL wii's can display 50 and 60hz, which means they work in USA fine.

Certain wii modchips can allow certain NTSC games to work on PAL wii, but no PAL games to work on NTSC Wii.

Of course, they'll still have updates to improve compatibility.

If I win it I may just trade somone for a NTSC system, just sell it so I can get a American.

WiiKey comes out the 28th (tomorrow)
