Looking good so far, and great results with the LED mod. The case does look a little thick, but that's probably just because of the angle in the picture.
I've hit a bit of a roadblock on mine; apparently bondo doesn't like to stick to styrene...at all. So now I need to find either a new filler, a new material, or to completely rethink my design
. Where did you get sheets of PVC from, or is that something that's available from the usual online plastics suppliers?

I really like the front plate, it looks nicely done. However, I seem to recall that's a 6 inch depth for the siding? I don't believe most people have used over about 2 inches depth-wise, so I would have to disagree with your statement. However, as gamelver said, if it fits well in your hand and you like it, who are we to criticize? Go for it. Oh, and good job on the LED mod.

*coughs and nudges head at your first one*Gamelver wrote:er, I'm pretty sure that it IS a lot bigger than any other N64p....no matter, it looks great, and if it's comfortable to hold for you, then you'll be fine

Anyways, yea, I love it. I think that someone could fit their hands on that baby pretty nicely.

NICE cuts. Until the last picture I was sure you had cheated and use a CNC machine. Cutting that damn plexi straight is hard, so is drilling it correctly. Those homebrew spacer stacks you have in there are pretty awesome too. I never thought of doing it that way, it's probably much sturdier than the regular round ones. A tip on epoxying: sand off all the glue thats on there now, mix up some epoxy, dip the spacers in and put them so that the epoxy makes a kind of 'puddle' underneath them. Then position them so that they are in the right spot, then give them a day or so to dry. Holds very strong. No one ever appreciates those little spacers, but they're very helpful for making a neat, reversible design.
Seeing yours almost done makes me want to work on mine. I hope my n64 comes in the mail one of these days. Damn Canadian shipping.
