The RF modulator is for the video output has nothing to do with power. To power the system hook a battery to the positive input (where the power plug went) and the negitive you cant connect right to the grounding strip.

Yes take the video positive and connect it the input on the LCD controller board and negitive to the ground, do the same for the speakers...Unless you have speaker that are part of the screen (like a hip screen or tv).

You can replace them with different speakers, or remove them and have the audio go to a head phones outlet.

No the NES is mono, cant change tha.

Just connect the power to ground and the V+ pin coming out of the modulator to the board.

Don't know what you're talking about, but yes. The video signal may need a small amp though.

Maybe some small headphone speakers? You'd need to build an amp though.

Yes, refer to the Stereo sound topic in this thread.

1. I mean that the rf-modulator is completely off. I threw it out. The end of rf modulator. Like do I solder the power straight to the board or must I make some kind of circuit?

2. I am referring to how to get the audio and video direct from the mobo without making the complicated looking amp on nestable. Something like what that french nesp did http://npes.free.fr/index.html . Just a direct connect.
3. Where do I get mini speakers like that? Do I use tweeters? Huh?
4. I mean like just sending the signal to two speakers, instead of connecting it to one. To make the illusion of stereo, but just with two different speakers outputing the exact same signal.

here is the diagram I made when making my NESp. Its heavily based off Tighes.

Image

The video, audio, and +5v points on the board are right where the RF unit used to be. you should have 5 holes left in that area. Those are what we need. the two rightmost points are unused. I never did anything with them and mine worked perfectly.

The 220ohm resistor, 33ohm resistor and the 2n4401 transistor are all it takes to make up the video amp. If you want you can try to just stick your video wire in the video point on the board. The signal might be strong enough for your monitor. It was strong enough for my LCD, but not my TV.

The 7805 was just my idea of regulating the power. If you can wire +5v straight to the board, that would be best. I actually used 4 AA's(6v) and never had any adverse effects. Though I wouldnt reccomend it. You can wire speackers straight to the audio point on the board, but it will be mono. I have no clue how to get stereo.

I hope this helped you out in some way.

I know, its cool.

How do I get to plug the nes into the tv? And what about connecting a wall plug to it to recharge and play at once? Thanks.

to recharge and play at the same time you'll need to incorporate a battery charger into the nesp.
