Super Famicom Portable (while in Japan)

It sounds ok, but the reason the person originally wanted the cutting board was to use the polyuathane for his vancumm mold.

I am the same as Jack, I did not know that... Well, wouldn`t it still work pretty good for this application? I have not worked with that kind of plastic in the ways that I will so I do not know the limits of that material. I think it would work though, because I used to piss off my mom when I was little by leaving knives sticking out of her cutting board. Its tough stuff (has to be since it is used for [dramatic drumroll] cutting).
But you know... Maybe if I heat the screws up to a nice red color then drill them into the board, that would melt it a little, thus making the plastic form around the screw as apposed to the screw just ripping at small pieces of plastic.
What do you think o-masters of portabilization?

If you want to screws to go in and do what you want I dont think heating them to red hot temp. is necessary. Heating them up a little is just fine, I highly doubt that cutting board plasic is trough stuff against heat.

Allright guys, I am going to the store today to get some supplies (for the case) maybe even a new case if they have one. After that, I wait for the screen to come on in. Then after that it all gets put together and I got a portable. Next project is a version 1 PS. Maybe.
The screen is going to be variable. It will be able to be slid in and out of all my other portables. That way I can just swap a screen and go.
i may switch out of a camcorder battery for a bunch of Ni-MH AA`s or something. Not sure on that one just yet.
To everyone thanks for the help and if someone wants to trade for a screen just tell me (because I have not bought a screen yet). I can trade for a lot.

I got the great variable idea finally worked out in my head!!!
This way not only would the screen be able to stay in place, but it would work with any system without looking like crap or out of place when you switch it out. I will post a pic once I remember my Yahoo login...
But it uses little clips and stuff that cover the screen. I will explain later, I have class, sorry.
