Sounds like you're drawning more than 1 Amp then, try wiring two in parallel to share the load.

i screwed it to a piece of alluminum
oh yeah and i wired it up again and nopthing happened but when i gave it wall power from the screen it worked then i tried again with wall power nothing happened

You have the LEDs connected to voltage before the regulator?

no they are connected to the regulator it just stopped working when i put some different batteries on it so then i put a new regulator in and it still doesnt work

they are connected to the output of the regulator near the bottomand the ground near the left side of the screen
any help or ideas wat is wrong would be awesome

okay i got it running again i just accidently bridged a gap on the screen i was using expect it to be done soonb with one of tritons sweet cases
