oh so i shouldn't hook all positive leads top the resistor and can i still go with the 10 ohm or should i get a different resistor and wat type

Like Gannon said, parallel is better, because you get more light.
Use the calculator to see what resistor you need.

What are the specs for your LEDs?

BTW: You are taking 7.2V from the regulator, and not the 30V or whatever it is coming from the CCFL jack, right?

i was doing everything like it said in bens book but the leds keep frying



ok i have a psone screen and am taking the power from the 7805 on the boottom of and they are ones from digikey part # CMD204UWC-ND
