i edited my last post (the one above yours), it should help you
the jumper pak socket isn't through-hole, and it also has some SMD resistors beneath it (i might burn it up). the memory socket is four rows of pins, so my methods won't really work. maybe my teacher has something.

OK thanks is there any way to make the expansion pak smaller or have it parallell to the mobo?

if you're careful not to take off the traces completely, you could cut down the height of the PCB a little

OK i have just dismantled my expansion pak. It has a board about the size of the jumper pak but it has heatsinks attached with glue so you cant take them off but you could cut them quite easily

careful man, i've tried to do that before and taken the top of the IC with the heatsink.
