And a week after I threw out that broken CD-R drive, I could've made use of the casing..

Yep, it's a cd-rom drive. I'm mostly a computer person, so I have several just lying around catching dust. Looked to me like it would make a good case. And so far its worked pretty well, nearly perfect size for the screen, and motherboard.

Cool Portable. Did the motherboard really fit in a CD Rom drive? I shouldve used a PSX instead of a PSone for mine, seeing as its cheaper.

yeah it fit alright, its about .5 cm too long but thats not a big deal. Im going to just make a little extension for the case to cap it off. As for width, its perfect, I actually used the mount that is under the board in the playstation.


I just finished the wiring today, BTW, and it works great except I lost the ribbon connector for the controller ports in the process, so I can watch it run but not play. Which kinda sucks.
