Hi Lamers,
If yes then look for other burnt out fuses on the mobo
What do blown onboard fuses look like? :D

Funny how the help pours in after you have it working.
You can safely remove the fuses with a soldering iron
Even a 15 Watt iron will lift them, and the pads can be
bridged with solder (harder than lifting the fuses).
The wires are sloppy, but only dangerous to the psone
if one end pops off and touches something else like the RF shield.

I came here because this thread was the first Google result
for "psone fuses", and the following info might help someone else:
My psone had a slightly different board, but the identification
printed on the board for the fuses is similar.. ie. 'PS001', etc.
There are only three of the smaller fuses in the location pictured.

Remember that gaming is the absolute ass end of the computing industry,
and gamers are the lowest form of life that use PCs.
Cheers Lamers, Art.

the fuses on the playstation do not show if they are burnt or not
what i did to fix mine was soldered wires on each ends of the fuses as you can see in the picture, then when it worked i took off the wires fuse by fuse to figure out which one was was actually burnt
yep. thats how you do it.
