what a sad story. but again, i'm sure that the next one will be a lot better. Maybe even a new case design :)
I will always put 8) at the end of my posts

nah, I'm just going to make it again, same as before...there is, quite simply, nothing else to add.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about your mishap  But look at it this way, you get to make a new one. I know there is something you wanted to fix on the last one. Because each time you make one the shells get better and better.. So get back in there and start building...

I don't know what else I can do, though :|....I've packed everything in there as well as I could, I had a ccfl backlight (but now I'll have to use LEDs, since the circuit board is completely ruined) and everything else was great....I suppose I could cut out the holes better next time, but other than that there's not much I can add without completely redesigning it. maybe I'll use a 7808 this time, and then have the GCp use RGB :P.....last time Iused a car regulator, and that took up a lot more space than a 7808 with a heatsink.

maybe you could add a modchip and make it able to play dvds and do other crap like that

i know this may be a bad time but, if you decide to make a new GCp soon or vac form anything anytime soon could you send me a plastic shell for one of your GCps without the psones part molded on top. i would be glad to pay you some cash.

Don't bump old threads without reason. Just PM Gamelver and have him answer your question. He said he may be making a how-to later on, but nothing immediate. Also, if you are inexperienced, don't come barging in trying to build a GCp. Try a SNES or NOAC portable first, and work your way up.
