Computer Crash

Post by electromaster64 »

Unfortunately my computer crashed last week so now that I have acquired everything to finish my SNES I have to wait until my new hard drive comes so I can print my case design to cut it out. I have it all backed up on an external hard drive but my other computer (the one I am on right now) uses Windows Me so I can't use the external drive w/ it unless I reformat it and loose all of the data. But hopefully I will be back underway and finished within two or three weeks.

Too bad man. What kind of crash was it? Was it a real live physical crash or just a software problem?
Nice to see someone I can relate to... (As in your sig)

Thanks about the sig man thats good to hear. But yeah it was an actual physical crash, a bearing went bad and it started making this sick screeching sound, I have a friend who works for a computer place and he is going to see if he can recover anything off my hard drive. But it is pretty much destroyed.

A build of Linux that runs off a CD but has something like 2 gigs worth of compressed programs on it. It's pretty cool. I've got it installed on my spare comp.

I finally got my new hard drive yesterday and I should have all the old data off my old one soon. So I should be making a lot of progress on my SNESp soon. Well as much can be made between college (midterms yay) and working 8hrs every day this week :) but I should be updating soon.
