lcd screen ???

Hi,

I want to build a NES Portable ant I don't know where I can to buy a lcd and I don't want to pay too expensive.

The best place by far would be ebay. Also, you could probably go to ebgames or buyrite...they have desant priced units.

Check ebay for either a Hip screen or a psone screen.

EB games often have Playstation One Screens, which are a favorite around here. They can be hacked to use LEDs which will reduce the needed Mah A lot. They are normally in the $80 range at EB, but can be cheaper on Ebay or other places. Also portable T.V.s are a good candidate for a NES, as you may not need a screen as large as the PS one, especially if you are trying to make your portable as small as possible. These are available at radio shack. But again you will get a better price on Ebay or somewhere else.

I don't think anyone has successfully used a Hip screen in a portable yet. I have one and I'm waiting for someone else to venture forward. For the price, it's a darn nice screen.
