Looks nice, but it also looks kinda crappy. I think someone of these boards has one, but it doesn't work well.

i don't think it would be very smart to use it on sensitive electronics equipment. it would probably short something out since it heats with electric current going through the tip (i believe)

I reccomend it. It takes less time to heat up. I still keep a conventional iron around for jobs that I don't feel like using the Cold Heat on.

Cant be too many as it runs off two AA batteries.

RadioShack is selling them, they're pictured in the flyer. $19.99 isnt too bad for a soldering iron.

there was another "cordless" soldering iron form radioshack.....it was a butane torch with a soldering tip on it :? .... I wonder if it's any good...
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

I saw that thing one night... it was one of the 2 commercials during Adult Swim that WASN'T for Adult Swim (not sure how they make money like that....)

Anyway, it looked too cheap and good to be true. Though cords DO suck...

Not when used properly by other people. For example, the cord went over the wire when someone was using an iron in my electronics class, and it melted through the rubber coat. The metal on the iron was grounded, so it shorted and there were sparks all over the place, as well as a satisfing pop
