I was 3 pages into a 5 page report, and then what happens? My computer freezes and crashes!! Argh.....this is almost as bad as breaking a lcd.

. I hate it when that happens (both the computer freezing and an lcd breaking).......
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

If the computer just crashed, it would autosave, but I didn't even get a bsod, it just froze

Did you leave it alone for awhile to see if it would fix cause sometimes that works. But of course this is for future notice.

lol, yeah, of course I did. This isn't the first time I've had instabillity issues with this computer, I think it's either the ram or just a bad os install.

I'm running Win98 on that pc at the moment. I only run that because I need a windows box to play games on. Other than that my other computers are running Fedora core 2.

Wow I know just how you feel, I was printing out a paper and I got the blue screen of death, from trying to print! Upgrade you os to XP, 2000 one of those two.

IDEA: stop using windows
my main machine has Mac OS 10.2.8
my PEESEE has Win XP Pro
and my server/hack-mac has Mac OS 10.2.8 and YDL 3.0.1 in a dualboot setup
