custom controler

Post by Joes2Silly »

I was thinking of making myself a custom playstation controller but
I had to get some things straight. Can I use a performance and
solder on analogs to it. Any advice or such would help

Does a performance controller not have analog sticks? If it doesnt, it would be hard to add analog sticks., and there wouldnt really be a point

Yea, do they really manufacture non analog controllers still :!: ....

I personally like doing controller mods to them in the ps1 days. But you might as well mod a dual shock controller as you'll be able to have more fun with it and more options!

BTW: What kinda controller mod are you planning? It sounds interesting.

that's why he wants to solder some on :P . you can probably solder them to the controller's power line and maybe get a resistor or something so it doesn't blow up

LED mods don't work verywell on some ps1 controllers Im working on one right now but the LEDs pull to much mah so I need to swap out a resistor or hook them up to the dualshock power but than they only will light up once in a while I'll play with it a little and get it too work.
