I'm eye-balling the sega CDX. Not really for porablizing but just to play. Does anyone know if the system has the hardware to play the 32X system's games built in or do I have to buy it seperatly?

of course it doesnt. its a sega cd/genesis, the 32x will work with it BUT be cautious, it could catch fire (seriously)

Is there a problem with heat or what because that shouldnt happen. Ok I'll be serious I'm laughing but it doesnt make sence that it should catch fire.

If thats the case, I'll put the 32X off for awhile.

It's pretty safe but it'll shorten it's life for sure. Sega says to put on some metal shielding, if you do that then it's fine.....uh...I forget where the metals plates would go......*cough
